Battery Show Europe 2023: DSA presents innovative solutions for the Battery Lifecycle Management
At the Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart, DSA will be present as an exhibitor again. From May 23rd to 25th, find out more about the Battery Cell Tester as an automation solution for efficient quality testing of battery cells and about the High-Voltage Battery Tester (HVBT) for end-of-line testing of high-voltage batteries. Both solutions are part of DSA's sustainable Battery Lifecycle Management concept. In addition, experience S4’s virtual module-to-pack assembly line.
Fully automated Battery Cell Tester tests battery cells quickly and effectively
In a live demo of the Battery Cell Tester developed by DSA and S4, we show how high-voltage battery manufacturers can benefit from the automation solution with accelerated quality testing and classification through rapid battery cell testing and sorting. The cell quality data collected during testing forms the basis for future lifecycle management of high-voltage energy carriers.
S4 launches battery pack production line
In cooperation with DSA, S4 will be presenting a concept for a battery production line for the first time at the Battery Show. Take a live tour of a module-to-pack assembly line that includes various solutions for automated and manual assembly steps. This virtual visit will be brought to life by a VR demonstration.
Perfect solution for end-of-line testing of high-voltage batteries
The High-Voltage Battery Tester (HVBT) enables reliable testing processes to ensure that the safety specifications and functions for high-voltage battery packs and modules are complied. The functions of the tester can be configured modular according to requirements and actual test location in order to integrate them into the customer's functional safety systems during the assembly process.
Presentation of the DSA Battery Lifecycle Management for the entire lifecycle of batteries
Learn more about the DSA Battery Lifecycle Management system, which covers the entire lifecycle of batteries through efficient battery monitoring, analysis and maintenance. The test results documented as part of the quality check and the data collected over the entire life of the battery provide the basis for the Battery Lifecycle Management. On this basis, the system provides concepts for the condition assessment, service life prognosis and remaining service life capacity of high-voltage batteries. This information is the basis for the main technical inspection and valuation of electric vehicles.
